Transportation Improvement Program
The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a list of upcoming transportation projects covering a period of five years.
Traffic Counts
The MPO's Traffic Counting programs work in partnership with NMDOT to provide annual average daily traffic (AADT) for many of the road within the Farmington MPO. The most recent traffic counts are from 2019, however when new data is available we will update our website. Some historical traffic count data is also available.
Transportation Performance Management
The Federal Highway Administration defines Transportation Performance Management as a strategic approach that uses system information to make investment and policy decisions to achieve national performance goals.
Travel Demand Modeling
The Farmington MPO uses a travel demand model to help inform elected officials, technical staff and the general public on potential traffic and fiscal impacts of road projects within the MPO planning area.

Public Participation Plan
The Public Participation Plan, which was adopted September 26, 2019, guides public participation activities conducted by the Farmington MPO.
