The Farmington Museum is delighted to be able to host Stan the T. rex in partnership with the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. Visitors to the museum will be thrilled to find themselves face to face with the gaping maw of one of the largest T. rex ever found, in full attack mode. The original Stan (as this Stan is a reproductive cast) is from the Hell Creek Formation near Buffalo, SD. Stan is named after the amateur paleontologist who found him in 1987, Stan Sacrison.
