    January 10, 2014 - June 6, 2014 @ Farmington Indian Center

    Applications due by Friday, June 6 2014. Pageant will be held at the Farmington Civic Center on Friday, June 13, 2014, 5:30 to 9:30 pm. Eligibility requirements: Must be a resident of Farmington, between the ages of 12-18, and provide proof of Tribal enrollment.

  2. Registration for Wildlife Wednesdays

    March 25, 2014 - June 25, 2014 @ Riverside Nature Center

    Need a special summer activity for kids ages 7 -12? Register them by June 25 for Wildlife Wednesdays, a five-week series of outdoor activities and hikes (from July 2 - 30). Each week’s session is different, as we learn about bugs, birds, trails, the water creatures in the Animas River, plants, and more. $20 per person, snack included. Registration required at the Riverside Nature Center, or the Farmington Museum.

  3. Picnic in the Park for Preschoolers

    April 1, 2014, 11:00 AM - September 30, 2014, 12:30 PM @ Riverside Nature Center

    Preschool children and their families bring lunch and meet at the Riverside Nature Center in Animas Park for a picnic, followed by a story or activity and a stroller-friendly walk in the park. Learn about plants, insects, birds, and all the interesting wildlife. Feed the friendly ducks, and go home in time for naps. This program continues every week throughout the spring and summer.

    The Bonnie Dallas Senior Center brings you the 2014 San Juan County Senior Olympics. $7.00 will enter you in the events, get you a great T-Shirt and be your pass for the awards picnic where we celebrate the winners and those who played. There will be events for everyone 50+.

  5. History Hike - The Narrows, El Malpais National Monument, Grants, NM

    May 10, 2014, All Day @ Farmington Museum

    History Hikes are back at the Farmington Museum! Join us on the second Saturday of the month. May through September, for a fun and informative hike that explores the cultural and natural history of the Four Corners region. Registration is required. The cost is $15 per person and includes transportation and lunch. This is an adults-only program. The distance to El Malpais National Monument is168 miles (3 hours) & 22 people maximum (including 2 staff/volunteers).

  6. Gateway to Imagination - A National Juried Art Competition

    Held at the Farmington Museum at Gateway Park, this annual show attracts fine artists across the country. The show will feature approximately 100 works of art by artists from across the country. Entries vary from multimedia pieces, pottery, paintings, and photography.
