Center tool -
Click any point in the map to move it to the center of the screen.
Zoom in - Click on a point on the map to
enlarge that area of the map (zoom in by 2X).
Zoom
out - Click on the map for a wider view of the area (zoom out by 2X).
Zoom box - Click and drag a box around the
area you desire to zoom into. 
Zoom to fit - Click to zoom map out to see
full extent of map.
Information tool -
Click on a park, road, or address location to bring up information about it. 
Select Address Locations– Click and drag a box to
select address locations. You need to reselect this tool everytime you want to make a new selection.
Select Roads– Click and drag a box to
select roads.You need to reselect this tool everytime you want to make a new selection.
Measure distance –
Click, drag a line (rectangle from corner to corner), and release to measure a distance.
