The leadership team is for teens interested in helping behind the scenes to make the Science Cafes happen. The Farmington Museum has a large collection of photographs that document the history of the city and the surrounding areas. The images highlight the diversity of the region, from the people who call it home to the industries that drive the economy to the natural environment we all share. Over fifty examples from the collection spanning almost one hundred years, from 1884 to 1979, are on display.

The Farmington Museum welcomes the return of the Plein Air Painters of the Four Corners. For sixteen years, this group has been dedicated to creating art outdoors, a practice called plein air, which allows for direct observation in capturing light, shadow, and color. The exhibition in the museum’s lobby features approximately 40 works from artists across New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona.
"SHIPWRECK! Pirates & Treasure, Presented by Monaco Rare Coins," brings real shipwreck treasures - and the technology used to recover it - right to the Farmington Museum! Find out what it's like to be a shipwreck explorer, the captain of a sinking ship or a pirate on the run with hands-on activities including a robotic arm to pick up treasure and a hurricane simulator to challenge the storm. Discover more than 500 priceless artifacts recovered from famous shipwrecks including real gold and silver treasure recovered from thousands of feet deep.
