    Train to become a certified Red Cross Lifeguard in just three days. Once you gain your certification you are eligible to apply as a lifeguard at the City of Farmington Aquatic facilities. This means you can work at Lions Pool, the Farmington Aquatic Center, Lake Farmington. Starting pay is $9.00 per hour. In order to enroll in this class you must pass a swimming pre-test.     Join us at the Farmington Public Library for a celebration of the iconic author and illustrator Maurice Sendak! Presented by the Farmington Public Library Foundation. The Maurice Sendak Memorial Exhibition is a retrospective of original works by Maurice Sendak. The collection has been on tour since 2013, the 50th anniversary of the publication of Where the Wild Things Are. This collection is exclusive to one location in each state, and the Farmington Public Library is the only place in New Mexico where you will be able to see rare and exclusive works by Maurice Sendak.
