New Mexico has become a world-renowned place for dinosaur discoveries. Fossils found in the state have helped scientists learn how dinosaurs lived, how they evolved, and how they went extinct. Since opening in 1986, the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science has become the number one place to view dinosaurs from New Mexico. Now their collection will be on display at the Farmington Museum.

Dress warmly and bring a flashlight for a walk of about two miles as the full moon rises. We will also enjoy sightings of animals, and maybe even hear an owl as we walk through the woods, along the river, and across the bridges. Children should be old enough to understand listening quietly. No pets, please.
