The pool is 50 meters long. Swim wear is needed. Swimmers must traverse the pool whether by swimming or walking continually.
The Farmington Aquatic Center provides indoor water recreation for the whole family, year round. The options are endless:
- 50 meter Olympic-size pool with high and low diving boards
- 150 foot water slide
- Leisure / playground pool

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, this lobby exhibition at the Farmington Museum explores the impact and influence the war had on American life. The exhibition features panels, courtesy of the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service, and posters from the Library of Congress, alongside artifacts from the museum’s collection.

Come down to the Farmington Museum to learn about the history of America’s Wild West from the curator, Jeffrey Richardson in the latest installments of the Curator’s Choice Lecture Series.
In February see the presentation, "Remember the Alamo!" The Alamo was originally established as a Catholic mission in the eighteenth century. It was eventually converted into a military compound, and in 1836, the Mexican army slaughtered its Texan defenders during a key battle of the Texas Revolution. "Remember the Alamo!" became a rallying cry as the Republic of Texas successfully fought for its independence.

The park trails are beautiful by moonlight, with glimpses of animals, and maybe even the call of an owl. Snow makes it even prettier. Dress for the weather on this leisurely walk of about two miles as we look and listen. Children should be old enough to understand walking quietly. No pets please. Bring a flashlight, but we will hope that the moon will light our way.
