The pool is 50 meters long. Swim wear is needed. Swimmers must traverse the pool whether by swimming or walking continually.
The Farmington Aquatic Center provides indoor water recreation for the whole family, year round. The options are endless:
- 50 meter Olympic-size pool with high and low diving boards
- 150 foot water slide
- Leisure / playground pool

Join the Farmington Museum and Farmington Indian Center for some authentic Dine' cooking at the Farmington Museum. This class will teach people some popular Navajo recipes and the history behind them. Through hands-on activities and demonstrations, participants will learn the process for making blue corn mush, fry bread, steamed corn stew with mutton, and red sumac pudding. The class will end with lunch! Registration is limited to 15.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, this lobby exhibition at the Farmington Museum explores the impact and influence the war had on American life. The exhibition features panels, courtesy of the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service, and posters from the Library of Congress, alongside artifacts from the museum’s collection.

Knot tying is an old-fashioned skill which still come in handy and is fun to learn. Make your own sample of rope using an ancient hand method, try the pioneer rope-making machine, tie some useful knots, and learn rope tricks at Riverside Nature Center. Come to learn, or share your own favorite skills with knots. Children should be able to tie a bow or shoestrings before coming to this workshop.
