The pool is 50 meters long. Swim wear is needed. Swimmers must traverse the pool whether by swimming or walking continually.
The Farmington Aquatic Center provides indoor water recreation for the whole family, year round. The options are endless:
- 50 meter Olympic-size pool with high and low diving boards
- 150 foot water slide
- Leisure / playground pool

Passionate, fiery, sensual, and intense, Flamenco: From Spain to New Mexico, provides an in-depth examination of the history and culture of Flamenco dance and music. Flamenco has been shaped over centuries by a multitude of cultural and regional influences, and this festive and multi-dimensional exhibition explores the origins, development, and appreciation of Flamenco as a highly respected art form on the world stage.
This exhibition has been organized by the Museum of International Folk Art, Santa Fe, NM, and is circulated through Guest Curator Traveling Exhibitions. Supported by the International Folk Art Foundation. Exhibition Lead Sponsor: Heritage Hotels and Resorts and New Mexico Multi-Cultural Foundation. Sponsored locally by the Farmington Museum Foundation.
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, this lobby exhibition at the Farmington Museum explores the impact and influence the war had on American life. The exhibition features panels, courtesy of the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service, and posters from the Library of Congress, alongside artifacts from the museum’s collection.

Join us for a Museum EdVenture! On Saturday's throughout the year, you will have the opportunity to explore the cultural heritage of the Four Corners on an all-day field trip. Registration is required and transportation to and from the Farmington Museum is provided. Participants are asked to bring a sack lunch. In March take a guided tour of gorgeous Canyon de Chelly, which features the 800-foot Spider Rock spire, towering sandstone cliffs surrounding a verdant canyon, rock art, and the remains of Ancestral Puebloan villages. Walk about two miles by starlight in Animas and Berg Parks to learn constellations and their stories. Look and listen for nocturnal wildlife along the way. Dress for the weather and bring a flashlight. Children should be old enough to understand walking quietly. No pets, please.
