Lifeguard Training – Learn to become a certified lifeguard and you can work anywhere in the country - or right here with us! A job as a lifeguard is loads of fun but is also taken very seriously because someone's life may depend on you.
Become a certified American Red Cross Lifeguard and work at one of our great aquatics facilities - including Lake Farmington! You must be 15 years or older to participate and able to pass a swimming pre-test. There is a minimum of four people to a class and it is a 24-hour course. Pre-test must be passed to register for class. Call the Aquatic Center to schedule your test today!

The pool is 50 meters long. Swim wear is needed. Swimmers must traverse the pool whether by swimming or walking continually.

Passionate, fiery, sensual, and intense, Flamenco: From Spain to New Mexico, provides an in-depth examination of the history and culture of Flamenco dance and music. Flamenco has been shaped over centuries by a multitude of cultural and regional influences, and this festive and multi-dimensional exhibition explores the origins, development, and appreciation of Flamenco as a highly respected art form on the world stage.
This exhibition has been organized by the Museum of International Folk Art, Santa Fe, NM, and is circulated through Guest Curator Traveling Exhibitions. The Four Corners Photographic Society is a local photography club consisting of members from the Four Corners region. Representing all levels of skill, in every genre of photography, the lobby exhibition emphasizes the creative expression of the recording and presentation of images taken from a variety of locations.

Donna Thatcher will be demonstrating several recipes from start to tasting during a two-hour outdoor session. Come down to the Farmington Museum to learn about the history of America’s Wild West from the curator, Jeffrey Richardson in the latest installments of the Curator’s Choice Lecture Series.
In May see the presentation, "On the Trail of Jesse James." Learn about Jesse James, one of the most notorious outlaws of all time. But his string of successful robberies came to an abrupt end on September 7, 1876, when the James-Younger Gang attempted to rob the First National Bank of Northfield, Minnesota. Repelled by local townspeople, Jesse and his brother Frank led an army of pursuers on one of the greatest chases in American history.
