Using techniques and approaches gleaned from nature, art, architecture, and craft, Steven Barr creates woodworking patterns that are both practical and playful. His unique visual palate mixes woods and wood textures in a reverent approach to the materials and processes of woodcraft. Beautifully handcrafted examples of his work, ranging from inventive sculptures to intricate furniture pieces will be on display.

Join us for a Museum EdVenture! On Saturdays throughout the year, you will have the opportunity to explore the cultural heritage of the Four Corners on an all-day, adults-only field trip. Registration is required and transportation to and from the museum is provided. Participants are asked to bring a sack lunch. Farmington Museum Foundation Members, call to get a registration discount!
In August join Farmington Museum Director Bart Wilsey for a tour of the Four Corners' vineyards and wineries. Participants will enjoy a tour of the New Mexico State University Research Station Test Vineyard, a full wine tasting and tour of Fox Fire Farms Winery in Ignacio, CO, and a surprise final stop!

Find out how traditional peoples used plants for dyes, foods, household items, and many other things. This workshop includes a walk of about a mile to see plants in the park and some hands-on activities to try some samples.
