The pool is 50 meters long. Swim wear is needed. Swimmers must traverse the pool whether by swimming or walking continually.

Using techniques and approaches gleaned from nature, art, architecture, and craft, Steven Barr creates woodworking patterns that are both practical and playful. His unique visual palate mixes woods and wood textures in a reverent approach to the materials and processes of woodcraft. Beautifully handcrafted examples of his work, ranging from inventive sculptures to intricate furniture pieces will be on display.

The Four Corners Photographic Society is a local photography club consisting of members from the Four Corners region. Representing all levels of skill, in every genre of photography, the lobby exhibition emphasizes the creative expression of the recording and presentation of images taken from a variety of locations.

Come down to the Farmington Museum to learn about the history of America’s Wild West from the curator, Jeffrey Richardson in the latest installments of the Curator’s Choice Lecture Series.
In August see the presentation, "Cowboys and Cattle Drives." The story of the American cowboy traces its origins to the Spanish introduction of cattle and horses to the new world. From there, a mixing of cultures and customs created a uniquely American ranching tradition. Learn about the history of nineteenth-century cowboys before dime novels, Wild West shows, and movies transformed men into myths.

Come and swim laps in the 89-degree water. We offer a 25 yard, five-lane pool. We have an ADA compliant lift for anyone who needs it.

Join our nature center staff on a walk to observe and learn about dragonflies. We will catch a few for up-close study, as well as watch them in their river and wetlands habitat. Binoculars are helpful. We will look for these colorful insects near the wetland and along the river on a walk of about a mile.
