Proposed Amendments to Chapter 19 of Farmington City Code

Chapter 19 of Farmington City Code regulates oil and gas wells in the City. Major revisions of this chapter occurred in 2006. Since that time, questions have arisen about the application of these rules and the possible need for revision. Some of these amendments are of a housekeeping nature and correct or clarify the code; others relate to standards and policies.

Tentative Schedule and Providing Feedback

These proposed amendments will be considered by the City Council at their regular schedule meeting on November 24, 2009.  The meeting will be held at City Hall, 800 Municipal Drive at 7:00 p.m.
