Telephone IVR System:

The City of Farmington now offers a fast, convenient option to pay your bill, make a payment arrangement, obtain a billing or payment history or report a power outage. This system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for your convenience. Just call our Customer Service line at 505-599-1353 and begin the experience. With the use of your utility account number, you may access all options available through our system. If you don't have your account number, you may say "representative" after the menu options are given to be transferred to a friendly Customer Service Associate any time during our office hours - Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Automatic Bank Payment Program:
With your authorization, we can automatically deduct your monthly utility bill from your checking or savings account and provide a statement for your records.

Budget Billing Plan:
To help you eliminate high and low billing swings throughout the year, you can level out your monthly payments to a fixed amount per month, based on your average usage. To qualify, a customer has to have at least 12 months of billing history on that account.

Credit Card Payment:
Residential customers may pay their utility bills with a Master Card or Visa card...credit or debit card.

Third Party Notification:

You may designate a friend or relative to be contacted if an account becomes
delinquent.

Utility Assistance Program:
Customers experiencing difficulty in making payments may qualify for assistance. To learn more about the requirements and application process, please contact the Salvation Army at 505-327-5117.

Payment Arrangements:
If you receive a delinquent notice, call Customer Service at 505-599-1353 and ask for payment arrangements. You can eliminate paying a warning tag fee, disconnection of services and reconnection fees just by making a call to our Customer Service Center.
