PARK RANGERS
Park Rangers answer calls everyday, whether it's about damage to City property, disorderly conduct, littering, or a myriad of other things related to our City parks. If we can't help, we'll get somebody who can. So, when in doubt, call us with your park concerns.
Services include:
• Enforce all Parks ordinances
• Parking zones at City facilities
• Criminal damage to City property
• Improper fire control on park property
• Disorderly conduct on park property
• Idling on park property
• Loitering on park property
• Prowling on park property
• Littering on park property
• Noise violations from park property
• Wrongful entry of public facilities
• Patrol over 1,900 acres of parks, golf courses, ball fields, and City-owned buildings
• Provide security for major events such as Riverfest, Freedom Days, and Connie Mack World Series
• Enforce adherence to the Parks Reservations system
• Turn on ball field lights
• Open restrooms
• Mediate when needed in conflicts on ball fields and soccer fields
Park Rangers also act as the eyes and ears for the Farmington Police Department.
