Did you know that you can reserve ball field facilities and even the facilities in the Recreation Center?
Anyone interested in using any of the city ball field facilities/ Recreation Center facility need to complete a facility usage form and return completed form to the Recreation Center at least one week prior to the event.

Did you know that there are horseshoe pits in the city?
The City Of Farmington offers horseshoe pits located next to Civitan Golf Course. Go play horseshoes and finish your day by playing 9 holes. Remember, horseshoes are good luck.
Did you know that the city has 25 lighted tennis courts?
The city has courts all over. We have 8 courts at the Sports Complex located next to the La Plata Highway on Pinon Hills Blvd. We also have courts on Cooper Street, at Brookside Park, and also at Lion’s Park located next to Lion’s Pool.
Did you know that the City Of Farmington has a Frisbee Golf Course?
The City has a fun Frisbee Golf Course in the beautiful Lion’s Wilderness Park. Off of College Blvd. behind Piedra Vista High School. It has 18 holes and is fun for all.
Have you ever heard of Pickleball?
Pickleball is a combination of Ping-Pong, tennis, and badminton and has been enjoyed for over 20 years by people of all ages. The Cooper Street tennis courts have Pickleball markings and are the only courts in the area that you can play Pickleball on. So go to www.pickleball.com for rules and then go to Cooper Street for some fun.
Did you know that you can rent volleyball equipment from the Recreation Center?
To rent volleyball equipment call the Recreation Center at 599-1184 and get the ball rolling. There will be a $25.00 refundable deposit.
Did you know that we have sand volleyball courts?
The courts are lighted and the nets are already there. Call 599-1184 for more information.

Did you know that the Recreation Center does not take park reservations?
Reserving a park shelter for family picnics, reunions, and church meetings has never been easier since moving the reservation desk to the Farmington Museum and Visitors Center at Gateway Park. Business hours at Gateway allow the public more access to the Reservation staff. The facility is open on weekends and has extended summer hours. There is also a number you can call to reserve one of the great parks that our city has to offer. Call 599-1400 and have fun.
