World Series

The American Amateur Baseball Congress is the sponsoring organization of the Connie Mack World Series. The A.A.B.C. provides activities for youth and young adult baseball players through seven league divisions in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Connie Mack regular season play allows players ages 16 to 18 to participate.

Recipient of the Beam Clay National Baseball Diamond of the Year Award for 1987 and the 1992 Diamond Dry Groundskeeper of the Year Award, sponsored in conjunction with the National High School Baseball Coaches Association, Ricketts Park was developed by volunteer efforts and community donations. Continued improvements to Ricketts Park are funded with proceeds from the Connie Mack World Series.
Operated by the City of Farmington year-round, the seating capacity at this top-ranked baseball field is over 6,100. Dimensions of Ricketts field - RF-330, RCF-370, CF-400, LCF-370, and LF-330.
Connie Mack World Series Happenings
Connie Mack Parade
Friday, August 6
11:30 a.m.
On Main St in Historic Downtown Farmington. Parade line-up will begin at the intersection of Main St and Wall Ave at 9:00 a.m. and the parade will begin at 11:30 a.m. Team pictures will be taken at Ricketts Park immediately following the parade. Connie Mack World Series Opening Ceremonies
Friday, August 6
8:00 p.m. Dependent
Opening ceremonies will happen at Ricketts Park after the 5:15 p.m. game and before the 8:00 p.m. game. The 8:00 p.m. game will most likely begin late due to opening ceremonies. All teams will be present. For more information, call (505) 599-1197.
Connie Mack Home Run Derby
Sunday, August 8
3:00 p.m.
One player from each of the 10 competing Connie Mack teams will compete to see who can hit the most home runs at Ricketts Park. The winner will receive a trophy. For more information, call (505) 599-1197.
