THE CONTEST After you post your photos, post them on our official Facebook page to be entered into a contest to win a prize of your choosing! Print out the sign, take your photo with the sign clearly visible in the photo, and post it on our Facebook page - it's that easy! Submissions will be accepted through July 31st. The photos will be judged during the first part of August and the winner for the most creative photo will be announced during the week after the Connie Mack World Series. Please ensure all photos are Rated G and do not depict anything unsafe or illegal - other than that, have fun and good luck! "This is how we recreate!" Social Media Project. In honor of July being National Park and Recreation Month. Show and share with America why parks and recreation are important to you, the community, and the U.S.! We encourage any individual that uses any Parks and Recreation facility or resource to participate in this project. Print out the social media sign here and take pictures of yourself, your family members, and your friends in any Farmington park or recreation facility. Post the images on all your favorite social media sites with "July is Park and Recreation Month!" in the header, and help create a massive buzz!
Policy for publishing pictures: The Farmington Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs department will be publishing photographs taken during public events at each of our facilities or at any local event sponsored by this department. Please be aware that we will take crowd shots at public events and will publish them.
