The Farmington Police Department is an internationally accredited, progressive law enforcement agency that is committed to maintaining the highest standards of personal and organizational integrity and to providing our community with a superior level of service.

The Farmington Police Department has been an accredited law enforcement agency since 1995 through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies. We have maintained our accreditation standards and met the re-accreditation standards for 2000, 2003 and 2006.

The department strives to maintain the professional standards which have established it as a leader in law enforcement in New Mexico. Divided into various Divisions such as Patrol, Detectives, and Administration, the Department proactively responds to community concerns through several community based programs.
