Public Works

The Administration Division is responsible for the direction of the department's major organizational divisions. These divisions and functional areas of responsibility are as follows:

• City Engineering, which includes Construction Inspection, Drafting, Engineering, Survey and Traffic Engineering.
• Water/Wastewater Utility Division, which includes Water Utility Administration, Wastewater Utility Administration, Water Rights , Stormwater, and Solid Waste Management (including recycling).
• Streets, which is responsible for street maintenance, weed control, snow removal and street sweeping activities.
