Water/Waste Water Utilities
The primary responsibility of Water/Wastewater Utility Division is to oversee the City's Water and Wastewater Utilities and monitor the City's operations and maintenance contracts with private sector firms. The main focus of this division is to oversee the operation of the City’s Water and Wastewater Utilities including financial management, capital improvements planning and environmental compliance. This division is also responsible for overseeing and monitoring the solid waste contractor's performance. Related responsibilities include serving as the environmental office for the City on regional efforts to address environment and/or regulatory compliance issues including the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and the Resource Recovery Act.
