Farmington Museum & Visitors Center at Gateway Park

Experience a wide variety of exhibits relating to the diverse history of the area’s cultures, traveling exhibits, and art shows. Lecture series, performances, workshops, and special demonstrations are offered year-round. The Museum store, “Currents,” features exhibit-related merchandise, books on local and regional interests, toys, and educational materials.

The Growers’ Market is held in the Museum parking lot, June - October, dependent on the growing season, Tuesdays from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. - Noon.  Find out more at www.farmingtongrowersmarket.com.

The Farmington Museum, 3041 E. Main St.,  is open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission is by suggested donation of $3 adult, $2 child. Call 505-599-1174.

Mystery at the Museum:  Murder, Mummies, & Moonshine!

In the Roaring ’20s, during the height of Egyptomania, a ritzy bunch of Shebas and Sheiks embark on a thrilling expedition to discover a lost pyramid. Then tragedy strikes…a member of the expedition turns up dead. Is it the curse of the mummy or murder most foul?

The evening's ticket price will include hors d'oeuvres, a sit-down dinner, a complimentary ticket for one glass of wine/beer from the wine and beer cash bar provided by Three Rivers Brewery, dessert, live music, dancing, and a photo booth.  Tickets are $75 per person and $125 per couple.  Individuals or businesses wishing to help support the Farmington Museum can sponsor a table for 8 at $700.  Dress is semi-formal attire, with 1920s glad rags highly recommended!
