Aquatic Center
The Farmington Aquatic Center provides indoor water recreation for the whole family, year round. The options are endless:
  • 50 meter Olympic-size pool with high and low diving boards
  • 150 foot water slide
  • Leisure / playground pool

There are also an assortment of programs such as:
  • Public swimming
  • Lessons
  • Aquacise
  • Lap swimming
  • Leisure pool exercise

Academic Public Swim Hours
  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday (leisure pool only): 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Fees - Public Swimming
  • Children 2yrs and under: free
  • Children (3-12): $3.24
  • Children (13-18): $4.50
  • Adults (19 and over): $5.00
Fee includes use of Olympic pool, leisure pool, and slide. Swim a lot? Consider purchasing a pass!

Lap Swim Hours
  • Monday - Friday: 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: during public swim

Fees - Lap Swimming
  • $2.50 per visit
  • Or use a punch card or pass
Lap swimmers must work the length of the pool in a continuous motion. Must be age 15 or older.

Parent Child PlayTime
Quiet time in the leisure pool exclusively for adults with children 5 years old or younger.
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 10:30 a.m. - noon
  • $2.50 per visit

Locker Use
We have lockers in case you need a change of clothes after your swim. However, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items, so we encourage you to leave your valuables in your vehicle or at home. We cannot hold items for you at the desk and you must provide your own lock for the lockers.

Training for Lifeguard, Water Instructor, and Swim Lessons
  • October 24 - Swimming lesson registration for November classes.  Registration begins at 8:00 am until classes are full.  Classes will be 4-weeks two days a week.  The cost is $35.00 per child.  Morning classes for Preschool levels and evening classes for Preschool levels and Levels 1-6.
  • October 24 - Get Pinked with the City of Farmington at Animas Park!!  Come join us at Animas Park for some games, prizes, and tattoos from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm.  
  • October 31 - The Downtown Association join up with the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs Departments for Boo-Palooza!!  Activities include Trick or Treat on Main Street, Carnival of Candy, Monster Mash Dance in Orchard Park, Kids' Costume Contest, and a Pet Parade.  Come join the fun from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
  • November 24 through November 26 - The Farmington Aquatic Center will have extended public swim hours for the Thanksgiving Break.  Public swim will be from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm.  
  • November 27 - The Farmington Aquatic Center will be closed all day for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
  • November 28 - The Farmington Aquatic Center will be closed in the morning and open for public and lap swim from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
