Can you walk to a transit stop from your home or workplace?
Your home, workplace or grocery store may be in close proximity to a transit stop. Use the interactive map below to see if you can walk to a bus stop. The map illustrates walking distance based on the existing street network, not a concentric circle. If you can access a bus stop within a 1/4 mile walk distance, you are very fortunate. A 1/2 mile walk distance is also very good. Health studies show that using transit on a daily basis will help you reach minimum activity levels needed for a healthy lifestyle.
