Farmington Museum & Visitors Center at Gateway Park

Experience a wide variety of exhibits relating to the diverse history of the area’s cultures, traveling exhibits, and art shows. Lecture series, performances, workshops, and special demonstrations are offered year-round. The Museum store, “Currents,” features exhibit-related merchandise, books on local, and regional interest, toys, and educational materials.

The San Juan County Farmers’ Market is held in the parking lot during late summer and early fall. Open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission is by suggested donation of $3 adult, $2 child. 3041 E. Main St., 505-599-1174

Farmington has changed dramatically over the years.  Come and experience a slice of Farmington's past in comparison to what it is today.  This unique exhibit uses both historic and contemporary photography and historic objects to show the evolution of Farmington from small agricultural settlement to the bustling city of today.  Come join us at the reception on Saturday Nov 9th from 2-4pm.  For more info call: 505) 599-1174.

The Farmington Museum Foundation and the Farmington Museum are pleased to announce the Benefit Navajo Rug Auction.  The proceeds raised by this benefit auction help support the programs, exhibits, and collections for the museum.  The public can preview nearly 200 rugs of all sizes, styles, and price ranges.    Info:  (505) 599-1174

Weekly Programming
Come to the Farmington Museum, 3041 E. Main St., from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.  Musical Mondays is now Tunes for Tots!  This music, story-telling, and crafts program will remain the same and meet on Wednesdays.  Come early and be prepared to get musical and messy! The recommended age for Tunes for Tots is Pre-K thru 1st grade. Admission is free. For more information please call (505) 599-1169.

Visit the Farmington Museum, 3041 E. Main St. from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. for this drop-in after school Arts Program, come early and be dressed to make art! Outside on the Terrace, when weather permits, inside when inclement. All ages welcome.   For more information please call (505) 599-1169.
