City of Farmington Department of Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Affairs
As the "Department of Fun" we strive to provide quality-of-life services and facilities that are second to none. Every inch of Farmington city limits has access to a park within one mile. Two indoor aquatic facilities and an outdoor pool provide year-round aquatic fun. Award-winning Pinon Hills Golf Course consistently ranks high within the top 10 municipal golf courses in the country and Civitan Golf Course remains a Par 3 community favorite. Our Recreation Center and Sycamore Park Community Center offer year-round facilities and programming for adults and children. Our Museum System consists of a Museum, Nature Center, and Children's Museum as well as a functioning Exhibit Barn and a handful of historical buildings. Every year, Ricketts Park is host to the Connie Mack World Series and our Sports Complex hosts many baseball and softball tournaments throughout the season. A collection of 90 fields, courts, and courses allow for plenty of opportunities for soccer, baseball, softball, football, basketball, tennis, volleyball, skateboarding, and frisbee golf. Farmington Animal Services provides adoption services, animal control, spay & neuter services for adopted animals, and park rangers. Sandstone Productions produces outdoor summer theater in the Lions Wilderness Park Amphitheater. Our senior center provides meals, facilities, and programming for area seniors. Our Civic Center provides a venue for several traveling Broadway shows and countless weddings, parties, meetings, and exhibitions. Besides our many facilities, we provide many annual events such as outdoor movies, art walks, and bike races.

Please be aware that we will take crowd shots at public events and will publish them.
