Buy for Tomorrow Today Campaign

The Economic Development Department is working on a centralized “Buy for Tomorrow Today” marketing campaign to support local businesses with online sales and encouraging the purchase of gift cards. The department has created a website,, that will launch publically at the end of next week (3/30/20). The idea is to drive traffic to individual business websites that have a PayPal (or other system) set up to sell gift cards and online sales.

New Mexico Main Street is supporting this effort and wants to work with Local Executive Directors to identify and help local businesses get their info onto the website. NMMS is also offering support with basic website development and social media set-up for MainStreet businesses that want to participate but currently have little or no online presence. This would include about three to four hours of technical assistance in reviewing existing websites and providing feedback, setting up a new basic web page for those that need it, helping businesses set up a PayPal account, and adding the PayPal account to their website.

Farmington Convention & Visitors Bureau Guide to Retailers, Hotels & Restaurants

We are assisting people daily, connecting them with where they can shop, order food, and stay. We are asking that all retailers, hotels, and restaurants take a minute to share revised services and hours with us. If you are a local retailer that is now offering online shopping or you are offering special hours for seniors, let us know. We are building a Shopping Guide and need your information.

We have also created a To Go Dining Guide, please share your menu and hours of service with us so we can connect you with those looking for take-out and delivery services.
