Services

The Street Maintenance Division commonly referred to as the Street Department is an integral part of the City of Farmington Community Works Department. The Streets Superintendent manages the division which is responsible for the maintenance of 220 miles of paved streets and 30 miles of dirt streets, public parking lots, right-of-ways, utility easements and storm water drainage systems within the City of Farmington.

The Street Division is also responsible for snow and ice control in the winter and flood control when it rains.


Potholes

Help us report potholes!
We need your help. We are ready to serve you fast and efficiently but we don’t know where all potholes are located. You drive our streets every day and you may have knowledge of potholes that we have missed. Help us keep our streets pothole free and report all potholes!
Did you know there are 21 miles of state highway within Farmington city limits? Shown on the map, those roadways including East Main Street are maintained by the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT).
