SCHEDULED WATER OUTAGE

Please be advised:


The City of Farmington will be installing a valve on Rowe Ave. tonight 10/15/18. The water will be off on all of Rowe Ave. The service outage is expected to take place between 11:00 pm and 3:00 am.


While every effort will be made to complete the repairs within this timeframe, unforeseen circumstances may require a longer outage. If the service disruption will last significantly longer than anticipated, we will provide additional updates. NIGHT-TIME STREET CLOSURE and
DAY-TIME RESTRICTION
NOTICE 

Please be advised the intersection at NM516 (East Main Street) and Piñon Hills Blvd. will be COMPLETELY CLOSED, 9 PM to 7 AM, Sunday through Thursday, beginning September 30, 2018 through October 30, 2018 to allow for a water mainline replacement project. Westbound traffic will be restricted; ALL right turn lanes in the intersection will be CLOSED.  Daytime traffic will be heavily restricted. 

Businesses and residents in the immediate area may experience periodic interruption of water services or low water pressure issues.

  • The southbound lane at Browning Pkwy. from E. Main St. to the beginning of the bridge (1,000 ft. south) will be RESTRICTED Tuesday, October 16, 2018 to allow for street maintenance. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm  


  • Broadway Ave. from Lake St. to Schwartz Ave. will be RESTRICTED beginning Monday, October 15, 2018 through Friday, November 2, 2018 to allow for water line installation. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

  • Behrend Ave. between Broadway Ave. to W. Main St. will be CLOSED beginning Monday, September 17, 2018 through Monday, October 15, 2018 to allow for new water line installation. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm


  • Broadway Ave. between S. Miller Ave. to Auburn Ave. will be RESTRICTED to two lanes starting Wednesday, June 13, 2018 through Friday, November 2, 2018 to allow for waterline installation. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

POTHOLE PATCHING & CRACK-SEALING PROJECT

The City of Farmington Streets Department will be potholing various locations throughout the City. Locations may be RESTRICTED for a short period of time during this process, detours and barricades will be in place.

FOOTHILLS DR. ENHANCEMENT - PHASE I

The project will involve reconstructing Foothills Dr. from Holmes Drive to Rinconada St. The reconstructed road will have two 11' wide travel lanes, two 5' wide bike lanes, one 10' wide detached multi-use path, drainage structures, medians and a roundabout.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

Ongoing: Blue stake/utility locate. Storm water pollution control to be installed and maintained throughout the project.

June 10 - July 17: Roadway/excavation, construction and culvert installation will continue through July.

June 22 - June 29: Mailboxes impacted during construction will be relocated, a temporary portable mailbox will be provided by the contractor. Permanent mail boxes will be replaced at the end of the construction, utility relocate-possible disruption in utility services and begin installation of drainage structures.

June 27: Speed limit reduced to 25 mph. Additional runs from water truck in the am and pm during the week, and additional weekend watering.

July 15: Traffic control barricades and temporary traffic control signage will be placed for road closure beginning Monday, July 16, 2018 through Saturday, July 21, 2018 to allow for culvert installation.

July 31 - August 1: Installation of culvert pipe across Foothills Dr. between Juniper Pl. and La Luz Trl.  

August 6 - August 11: Crews will begin the installation of 30"culvert on east side of Foothills Dr. between Los Ninos Pl. and Juniper Pl.

August 13 - August 31: Crews will start pouring concrete structures south of Los Ninos Pl.
Grading and pouring concrete structures for Rinconada St. roundabout.

September 10 - September 14: Crews will continue work on inner curve of Rinconada St. roundabout. Crews will also start building retaining wall for bike path. Continued storm drain installation throughout project. 

September 17 - September 21: Continued storm drain installation near Los Ninos Pl. Regular entrance to Los Ninos Pl. will be closed Wednesday, September 19 through Friday, September 21, 2018. Side access will be provided.

September 24 - September 28:  Los Ninos Pl. restriction is expected to go through Sunday, September 23, 2018. Rinconada roundabout large truck restriction will be lifted this evening, Friday, September 21, 2018. Excavation will begin for drainage from Los Ninos to roundabout. Drainage structure will be installed at La Veta Dr.  Crews will start driveway prep work, from Holmes Dr. to Juniper Pl. 

October 10 - October 12: Foothills Dr. between Holmes Dr. and Rinconada St. will be COMPLETELY CLOSED for three (3) days beginning to allow for paving. 

October 15 - October 19: Foothills Dr. between Holmes Dr. and Rinconada St. will be HEAVILY RESTRICTED for five (5) days beginning Monday, October 15, 2018 through Friday, October 19, 2018 to allow for paving.

STREET RESTRICTION NOTICE

 

Please be advised Foothills Dr. between Holmes Dr. and Rinconada St. will be HEAVILY RESTRICTED for five (5) days beginning Monday, October 15, 2018 through Friday, October 19, 2018 to allow for paving. 

Expect periodic COMPLETE CLOSURES at Rinconada round-about.

Longer than normal delays are expected.
 

Access to the north via Lakewood St., Hood Mesa Tr., and College Blvd. 
 
Detours, flaggers and barricading will be in place. Motorists are strongly advised to avoid the area to avoid long delays and seek alternate route.

2P, PHASE I WATERLINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT

The 2P, Phase 1 Waterline Replacement Project is currently in progress.  This major project includes replacement waterlines on  Griffen, Graham, Plum, Bramble, Poplar, Sycamore and S. Dustin.  Anticipated project completion is January 16, 2019.

  • Plum St. from Graham Rd. east to Bramble Ave. will be RESTRICTED beginning Tuesday, August 28, 2018 through Friday, October 19, 2018.
