If you live in Farmington, New Mexico, or have traveled here as an adventure seeker, you’re familiar with our natural playgrounds. These playgrounds were the basis for launching the Outdoor Recreation Industry Initiative (ORII) to grow the OR economy and bring new outdoor recreation offerings to Farmington. 


ORII has been a catalyst for Farmington’s blooming OR opportunities. From private ventures to nonprofit organizations, people are embracing the outdoors and capitalizing on our natural amenities.
