City of Farmington to Host Hiring Event
On-site interviews for select positions
FARMINGTON, N.M. - The City of Farmington will host a hiring event on Feb. 7 and 8 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Farmington Civic Center. Representatives from the following departments and divisions will be there to answer questions:
Parks Operations
Farmington Civic Center
Aquatics
Farmington Regional Animal Shelter
Farmington Indian Center
Pinon Hills Golf Course
Farmington Recreation Center
Farmington Fire Department
Alternative Response Unit (Farmington Fire)
In addition, City staff will conduct on-site interviews for the following positions:
Parks Maintenance Seasonal
Parks Maintenance Technicians
Certified Lifeguards (staff will be scheduling lifeguard pre-tests A.K.A. water skills tests, for individuals interested in becoming certified)
Lake Host
Lake Host Lead
Bisti Bay Cashiers
Pinon Hills Golf Course Maintenance Personnel
Indian Center Aide (Monday, Feb. 7 ONLY)
Human Resources Director Tom Swenk said, “Hiring events are a great opportunity for job seekers to meet with staff and have their questions answered before applying. These events also help expedite the hiring process for certain positions, which is a win for those looking to find work quickly and for the organization.”
