Work's Out, Fun's In!

Do you find it difficult to take your family to the E3 Children’s Museum & Science Center in Farmington during our regular hours? If so, these nights are just for you! Come and explore E3 after hours with the family. The evenings are especially picked to give all the busy working families an opportunity to come and enjoy the museum together. Atomic Teen Science Cafe, where teens and science make the future. Atomic Teen Science Cares are 6-8pm on Sep 8, Oct 13, Nov 10

Teens 13 to 17, join us for “live” Atomic Teen Science Cafes at the Farmington Museum from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on the second Friday of the month. Cafes are for teens interested in current science and interacting with scientists in a fun and informal way. Come for amazing science, food (dinner is provided), and fun! Simply Science

Simply Science 

Simply Science is back this fall! Join us at E3 Children’s Museum & Science Center on Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30 for simple experiments, the kind you may not get to do at home in the kitchen. Dress accordingly, hopefully things will get messy. For more info call (505) 599-1425.

Early Explorers for Preschoolers

School is back in session and so is Early Explorers. Friday Explorers for preschoolers at the E3 Children’s Museum & Science Center in Farmington allows preschoolers to explore different science concepts and most adults will leave with ideas to try at home. This program is designed for children two to five years old and meets from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. For more info call (505) 599-1425.

SHIPWRECK! Pirates & Treasure. Discover the world of shipwreck treasures at the Farmington Museum, September 30-February 17

SHIPWRECK! Pirates & Treasure, Presented by Monaco Rare Coins, brings real shipwreck treasures - and the technology used to recover it - right to the Farmington Museum! Find out what it's like to be a shipwreck explorer, the captain of a sinking ship or a pirate on the run with hands-on activities including a robotic arm to pick up treasure and a hurricane simulator to challenge the storm. Discover more than 500 priceless artifacts recovered from famous shipwrecks including real gold and silver treasure recovered from thousands of feet deep. This exhibit is $7.00 for adults, $4.00 for kids (3-12), and 2 and younger free. The exhibit is open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturdays.
