The Main Street Complete Streets construction project is in design.  Construction is scheduled for early 2019 and is estimated to take 7-10 months.

What to expect before construction:

  • In preparation for next year's major construction, many waterlines, sidewalks, ADA ramps, traffic signal upgrades, and other projects in the downtown area will be constructed in 2018. Various street closures and restrictions may be in place.  Visit our web page for more information:
  • Business owners, property owners, and residents are invited to participate in the design process and encouraged to be informed by attending all public meetings.
  • Small business educational classes are available at HQ to support our local businesses and increase the resiliency of the downtown businesses before, during, and after construction.
  • Complete Streets HQ will have all the latest information available to all stakeholders and the general public and will be open throughout construction.
  • Once Construction Plans are ready the project will be posted for bidding and the awarded contractor will need to be approved by City Council.
