City of Farmington's Parks, Recreation & Cultural Affairs

Be Active!

Did you know that even a 20-minute walk in nature can help children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) concentrate better?

At the city of Farmington's Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Affairs we offer tons of programs and activities that keep kids of all ages physically and mentally active, like our monthly Park Play Days. Each month we pick a neighborhood park for a little organized, FREE fun! These are great places to meet your neighbors and remember how awesome a trip to the park can be. Meet us at the following parks this summer:

  • Milagro Park - June 26 - 6:00 to 7:00 pm
  • Westside Estates Park - July 16 - 10:00 am till noon
  • Indian Center Park - August 19 - 4:00 to 6:00 pm
  • Beckland Park - September 7 - 10:00 am till noon

Below are more upcoming walks and outdoor activities, but make sure check out our full summer Gateways Activity Guide here!
