    Chevel Shepherd is the winner of season 15 of the American talent competition "The Voice". Coached by Kelly Clarkson, Chevel is a country powerhouse that has a big career ahead of her. Recently, Chevel has partnered with the Professional Bull Riders and is currently working on her debut EP that is due out in early 2020.

    It's back!!- Farmington's annual Turkey Trot and Gobble Wobble! The City of Farmington is bringing you this great American Tradition known as Turkey Trots. This 5K Race and 2Mile Walk has become a community favorite over the past years! As part of the tradition the proceeds from the race support a local charity and this year we’ll be running, gobbling, and walking for the Children’s Hope Foundation! The Children’s Hope Foundation assists children and their families with healthy beginnings, growth opportunities and support during times of crisis. TheChildrensHope.org This year's event will be held at Orchard Plaza in Downtown Farmington and will feature a 5K Turkey Trot and a 2 Mile Gobble Wobble walk. Registration is $20.00 for your entry and an event t-shirt! Race and Walk start at 9 am. Awards will follow the conclusion of the run and walk. *~* This is an all weather event, please plan to participate- -rain or shine!*~*

    Come to Riverside Nature Center in Animas Park, Farmington, for a leisurely walk as the moon rises. This may be the best time to see and hear some of the animals and birds. Dress for the weather and bring a flashlight for a walk of about two miles. No pets, please.
