Lake Farmington offers tons of outdoor experiences. Come to fish or enjoy the water on a non-motorized watercraft, swim at  The Beach or get some exercise exploring the shoreline.

Open for Public Use 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM


The Beach is open but no lifeguard is on duty. Swim at your own risk.

This limitation is for the safety of our patrons in accordance with the governor’s Public Health Order. For more information on facility closures Click Here.

Lake Access Fees:
Lake access fees can be paid at the Main Entrance off of Hwy 516 between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM mid-April thru mid-October. Access outside of those dates and times must be paid at a self-pay station. 

$1.00 per person.
Good on day of purchase only.

Annual Pass - $50.00
Good April - March. Sold per vehicle. 

Camping - $5.00
Separate from access fee. Night fishing is permitted for all camping guests. 

There are NO additional charges for activities at the lake once the access fee is paid during open hours (excludes camping). 

Fishing from Shore:
Allowed year round with valid state fishing license. 

Lake Open to Non-Motorized Watercraft:
May thru October
All watercraft entering the area must stop for the mandatory watercraft inspection at the main entrance.
The Beach:

Seven (7) days a week


NO party rentals are being booked at this time.
The Beach is available for private party rentals between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. daily during operating season. Rental includes on-duty lifeguard staff.

includes fifteen (15) vehicle passes
$5.00 per additional vehicle

$300.00 for 101-200 guests
includes twenty-five (25) vehicle passes

The Paddle & Shiver Shack offers on-site catering and watercraft rental options for your party.
